TNDTE Results Declaration Updates Details 2016

Latest Updates : TNDTE Result has to be declared on 31st May 2017. But for few reasons it got delayed. So we are expecting the resultĀ  will be declared today. Please keep visiting for more info.

Even Semester results get declared by the end of May or at the start of June. On the other hand, odd semester results declared in the month of January. Supplementary exam results get announced with the other exam results.

Students need to fill their registration number and date of birth to check their result. The same procedure follows to check supplementary results. For more accurate details, please visit the online web portal of TNDTE.

The odd semester results, held in October and November, got announced on 30 November 2015. The even semester results will get declared on 27 May 2016.

TNDTE has good links with government bodies, Anna University, IIT Madras and NITTR, Chennai. It also provides good quality education content video lecture on YouTube, NEPTEL, IGNOU, and NME-ICT.

The main goal of Tamil Nadu government behind the institution establishment was to spread science and technology at wide level. The institution encouraged students for research activities. The main focus was on the students belonging from the rural areas or from poor families. The main mission of Tamil Nadu government was to turn Tamil Nadu into a worldwide center of University Education.

The institution offers diplomas, post diplomas, engineering and technology courses, post-graduate courses and other research programs. Currently, directorate offers 464 courses in polytechnic. Also, ten institutes of TNDTE offer a 3-year course in Catering and Hotel Management. Besides this, it also controls commerce institutions offering typewriting, shorthand, and accountancy.

Generally, admission for all courses opens in the month of May through entrance exams. Students who have completed their high school education register themselves for polytechnic courses. Students who have passed their qualifying examination apply only for Catering courses. However, students should meet the eligibility criteria for admission.

For admission in post diploma courses, the candidate should have completed their diploma. There is no age limit for post graduation courses.

Lateral entries, for engineering and diploma courses, gets admission in the starting of the second year. Students should fulfill the eligibility criteria of lateral admission.

TNDTE Time Table and Examination Details

TNDTE follows the pattern of odd and even semester. Examinations get conducted twice a year, in odd and even semesters. All the courses offered in TNDTE follows the same semester patterns. Students should pay their exam fees on time, to appear in the semester exams. Odd semester exams, for all courses, start in the month of October or November. Even semester exams, for all courses, begin in the month of March or April.

Students who fail to get passing marks or does not fulfill the attendance criteria are not allowed to appear in the examination. The student has to give re-exam of that subject in which he fails. The supplementary exams of the subject take place in the next upcoming semester. Normally, the supplementary exams conducted along with the regular exams.
