October 10 BPUT has released Odd 5th and 7th semester exam date sheet in official site, So Students can now download their BPUT date sheet.
November 04 : Revaluation result has been released for B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, MBA, MCA of Even Semester 2015-16 available, Students can Check it.
December 19: BPUT Nov – Dec 2016 result has been published in official site, students can check their result.
BPUT Results Declaration
Results for the semester exams roll out within 30 to 40 days from the day of the last exam. BPUT results for the back exams roll out along with the regular exams. The students can check the BPUT Results online on results.bput.ac.in. Also, the students can go to www.bputexam.in. The exam website shows the results based on info provided by the student. You can check result by entering registration number and date of birth.

Honorable Governor of Odisha manages the Chancellor post of the University Dr. Senayangba Chubatoshi Jamir is the current Chancellor. Vice Chancellor of the university is Prof (Dr.) S.S.Pattnaik.
At present, there are a total of 110 colleges recognized by the university. Out of these 110 colleges, 7 are Govt. colleges. 1 is a public-private partnership. The remaining is the private colleges in Odisha.
The university has two campuses. The first one is in Bhubaneswar city. The exam related work takes place on the campus. The second campus is in Chhend, Rourkela. Most of the admin work; convocations etc. takes place on this campus. The university has its own Center for Advanced Post Graduate Studies. It is in the southern part of Chhend campus.
UGC recognizes the BPUT. The university provides excellent technical education. The courses offered by the university have Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees. All the colleges affiliated with the university have to follow strict guidelines. This is to ensure high standards in each department. The university often carries out surveys. These surveys help the administration to check the quality of the education.
To stay affiliated with the university, the colleges have to go through the strict screening process. In the recent years, the university took some strong steps against the colleges which fail in the screening process.
To gain admission in the university, the students have to pass an entrance exam. They can opt for OJEE or AIEEE. The Govt. of Odisha conducts OJEE. OJEE pass out students can avail up to 75% of the available seats. The students who take the AIEEE can avail up to 15% of the seats. The Govt. of Odisha Policy Planning Body makes the final decision of the seat distribution.
There is separate section for NRI students. The NRI students have a limited access to the university seats. They can gain direct admission. If any seats remain unfilled, the AIEEE pass outs can avail them.
For other courses, there are different admission options. The university conducts entrance exam for some courses. Remaining courses have admissions based on merit. The university does not offer any courses under Distance Education.
BPUT Exam Schedule Details
Like most of the Universities, BPUT also follows dual semester system. Exam for the odd semester i.e. sem 1, sem 3, sem 5 takes place in the months of Nov and Dec. The exam for the even semester takes place in the months of May and June.
The passing marks for the theory are 25 out 70. The passing marks for practical are 50%. Any students who fail to gain the required marks have appeared for the exams. The back exams take place with the regular exams every year. The info about the schedule of the exams is available on the university’s website. The students can apply for re-checking of a paper within 30 days from the date of results. The facility is not available for special exams. Only the un-evaluated questions will be checked. The student can apply for answer scripts. Fees for revaluation are Rs.200. In case the student needs the answer script, he has to pay Rs.60 extra.
